Banco Macro continues conducting its "Animate a Aprender" initiative in the Province of Catamarca

Catamarca, July 27, 2016. Banco Macro continues conducting its "Animate a Aprender" initiative in the Province of Catamarca, addressed at providing financial education and inclusion to senior citizens. The purpose of such training is to foster approach to the alternative banking channels that the Bank offers.

The education initiative shall be conducted from August 1 to August 31, 2016 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Catamarca branch.

A team of Banco Macro tutors at the branch premises shall be teaching customers how to handle the most usual ATMs´ operations and shall be providing tips as to the benefits of using debit cards, affording greater ease and security for users.

The training shall be provided by means of tablets that simulate an ATM screen, and printed material shall be handed out in order to reinforce concepts learned.

Tutors shall not be requesting for any personal data or passwords, training shall only be provided on a simulation basis inside the branches.

The "Animate a Aprender" initiative is part of a series of actions launched at fostering the use of the Bank´s alternative channels by senior citizens and is supplemented by other actions of Banco Macro addressed at promoting financial education such as Portal Web Cuentas Sanas: the first personal and family financial education web portal in Argentina that provides an integral education base on personal finance and banking.

Useful information to identify the tutors

All tutors providing training shall carry:

• Credentials bearing their name, ID number and Banco Macro logo.
• Black trousers and blazer, white shirt bearing Banco Macro logo.
