Andean Culture International Festival

Jujuy, November 25, 2016. Banco Macro sponsored the second edition of the FICA Festival (Fiesta Internacional de la Cultura Andina), the most important musical and cultural festival in the Northern Region of Argentina. The festival was held on Friday November 25th at 8:00 pm at predio Ciudad Cultural de San Salvador de Jujuy.

FICA 2016 is a musical and cultural event of unique features in the region. This edition also presented stands with regional products and typical Andean food to taste and purchase. Attendees were also able to enjoy a great exposition of handicrafts.

Many musical talents, both domestic and international, participated in the festival such as Los Tekis, who staged their colorful and mystique songs of the Jujuy Carnival with their usual energy; El Chaqueño Palavecino, one of Argentina’s most popular artists; Américo, the young artist from the North of Chile who has been internationally acclaimed as the most promising artist of the last years; and the group MariaJuana, who participated to the rhythm of Tinkus and Morenadas.

Once again Banco Macro accompanies popular traditions and invests in the growth and development of Argentina, and therefore shares the values of diversity, dedication and happiness that the "FICA 2016" promotes.
